The Last Drop Cafe is the latest incarnation of the Kazantzidis family's 35 year old business, which started when his family bought the building and operated it as a gift and hardware store.

Ten years ago Con gave up his high school teaching career to transform it into the neighborhood's first modern cafe. The family is still involved in the business with Con's mother making Greek dishes like spanakopita and keftedes.

Con is passionate about coffee and fresh ingredients. Last Drop uses its own custom coffee blend made especially for the cafe and Con sources all the food for the cafe from within a ten kilometre radius.

Earlier this year, the Last Drop Cafe was reviewed by the New York Times, when they came to visit Dulwich Hill. You can read this story and other reviews of Last Drop by clicking on the links on the right.
